hovedbrandstationen er danmarks største og travleste og en af scandinaviens travleste fuldtidsbrandstationer.

stationen er placeret lige midt i centrum af københavn bag rådhuset og ved siden af tivoli på den voldsomt befærdede h.c andersens boulevard som skærer direkte igennem centrum af københavn.

stationen er nok min yndlings station at filme udrykning på bl.a også grundet h.c andersens boulevard hvor der er meget forbipasserende. her især ambulancer og politi. nogle gange køretøjer fra andre brandstationer eller andre udrykningsselskaber.

derudover er det en fed lokation at filme på langs den forholdsvis lange og lige vej.

brandstationen huser 18 brandmænd på fuldtid derudover er der også 2 lægebiler og en ambulance tilknyttet.

de 18 brandfolk besætter 6 biler.
3 af dem er placeret i 3 ports garagen bag rådhuset.
de 3 biler bliver bemandet af 8 mand som er lokaludrykningen.

i midtergården er resten af vognparken.
her kører indsatsleder fra med stabsoperatøren og specialtjenesten som også huser 8 mand.
fra midtergården kører også lægebilerne og ambulancen.

for mig at se er det bedst at vente i midtergården hvor man også kan holde øje med lægebilerne og ambulancen og man kan samtidig bedre hører udkaldstonerne når der er kald til brand.
midtergården kan dog være lukket for offentligheden.

hvis man ikke kan komme ind i midtergården vil man med fordel kunne vente ved 3 ports garagen hvor man rimeligt tydeligt kan hører når nogle af brandfolkene bliver kaldt og hvis man kigger lidt til venstre i porten til lokalsprøjten se hvilke biler der kaldes.

brandfolkene kører op mod cirka 3.000 udkald om året.
her er det mange forskellige typer kald.
mange af kaldende vil være supplerende mandskab og materiel til andre stationer.

de mest normale biler at fange er indsatslederbilen som er den der kører mest. dernæst lokalsprøjten.
nogle gange kører de alene og nogle gange er de suppleret med andre køretøjer.

de andre brandkøretøjer vil som regel også kunne fanges hvis man er der over en hel dag.
hvis man er rigtig heldig kan man fange alle 6 biler på en gang.

lægebilerne kører også mange gange hver dag og det samme med ambulancen som der også er mulighed for at fange.

The main fire station is Denmarks largest and busiest and one of Scandinavias busiest fulltime fire stations.

the station is located right in the citycenter of copenhagen behind the town hall and next to the tivolipark on the busy h.c andersens boulevard which cuts directly through the citycenter of copenhagen.

the station is probably my favorite station to film emergency services on, among other things also due to h.c andersens boulevard where there are a lot of passing emergencys, especially ambulances and police. sometimes vehicles from other fire stations or other emergency services.

in addition it is a cool location to film along the relatively long and straight road.

the fire station houses 18 fulltime firefighters in addition there are also 2 mediccars and an ambulance.

the 18 firefighters drive in 6 units.
3 of them are located in the 3 port garage behind the town hall.
the 3 units are manned by 8 men who are the local firecrew.

in the courtyard is the rest of the fleet.
here the commandcar drives from with the staff operator and the special crew which also houses 8 men.
from the central courtyard also drive the mediccars and the ambulance.

for me to see it is best to wait in the central courtyard where you can also keep an eye on the mediccars and the ambulance and you can at the same time better hear the call tones when there is a call for fire.
however the courtyard can be closed to the public.

if you can not get into the central courtyard you will be able to wait at the 3 door garage where you can reasonably clearly hear when some of the firefighters are called and if you look a little to the left in the gate to the local pump see which cars are called.

firefighters drive up to about 3,000 calls a year.
here it is many different types of calls.
many of the calls will be additional crew and equipment to other stations.

the most normal cars to catch is the commandcar which is the one that had most calls on the station.
then the local pump.
sometimes they drive alone and sometimes they are supplemented with other vehicles.

the other fire trucks will usually also be able to be caught if you are there for a whole day.
if you are really lucky you can catch all 6 cars at once.

the mediccars also drive many times every day and the same with the ambulance which is also possible to catch.

so you are immediately 100% sure to catch something in the box without waiting for a particularly long time
