北国では冬の暖房機器から出火する火災が多いです。
ある日の午後に、道路を逆走して火災現場に向かう消防車に遭遇しました。
対向車線から逆走する緊急車両を避譲して停車しましたが、接近するタイミングで停車することが難しいタイミングがあるのが雪道です。
緊急車両にも、一般の車両にも注意が必要です。
降雪量が多いと、緊急車両の走行にも支障があると思われますが、そんな冬でも果敢に消火活動にあたる消防隊員のみなさんに感謝いたします。
